Will the 2022 Woman, Thou Art Loosed! (WTAL) Homecoming take place in person or virtually?

We’re excited to share that a virtual option is now available, so you can attend in person or online.

What is a virtual conference?

A virtual conference is an interactive event that takes place online bringing together a large group of people who share common niche interests or expertise – to network, learn, and plan.

Virtual conferences, like physical conferences, consist of keynote sessions, breakout sessions, and much more, with the purpose of interacting and engaging with audiences online.

I’m already registered to attend the conference in person. Can I transfer my ticket to virtual registration?

No, at this time there are no plans to offer transfers from in-person to virtual registration. To attend the conference virtually, you must purchase a virtual ticket.

Is my virtual registration refundable?

All registrations are nonrefundable and nontransferable. This includes the final conference, donations, and other products or services. In-person registrations cannot be exchanged for virtual options.

When will you announce speakers/sessions?

Information about our WTAL speakers and their respective sessions is available on our website’s “Speakers & Artists” and “Schedule & Sessions” pages. Check back soon as we continue to add more details about this triumphant last gathering!

Will the virtual platform be translated?

Yes, on the main stage of the virtual platform there will be a tab for translations.

I purchased a ticket to attend the conference in person in Atlanta. Do I also have the option of watching the WTAL:Homecoming virtually?

No, in-person registration does not have access to the virtual option.

Does my Virtual Experience registration give me access to session replays?

No, the virtual registration applies to live streaming only and does not include replays.

Do I need to download or install any software to be able to attend this event online?

No. You do not need to download or install any software to participate in a virtual conference. You only need to have access to the internet.

Is a webcam required?

It is not a requirement in order to participate.

How do I log in on the day of the event?

Your login information is contained in your confirmation email. To log in, you will need either your registration number or email address and verification code. Check your inbox, as well as your spam folder, for the subject line containing CONFIRMATION: WTAL Homecoming 2022.

If you need your confirmation email re-sent to you, you may go to the online registration manager at https://payment.tdjakes.org/regmanager/. Also within the virtual platform after entering your email or registration number, you may click the “Resend Verification” button or contact customer service at custservice@tdjakes.org or call 1-800-BISHOP2.

Where will the virtual event be held?

The website link for the 2022 WTAL Homecoming Virtual Experience is https://tdjconferences.com/wtal-2022. This is an online event. You can participate from anywhere you have internet access. The event is accessible from desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.

What technology do I need for this virtual event?

To use the TPH Virtual Interactive Platform features and to receive the best experience from your computer, you need the most up-to-date version of your web browser. Update your browser or switch to another one.

The Virtual Interactive Platform does not support Internet Explorer but is supported in Google Chrome, Firefox, MS Edge and Safari.

How can I ask questions at a Virtual Conference?

During the conference a chat room will be available to all participants where they can make comments and ask questions. Online chatroom administrators will be available to answer questions.

There will also be a help desk link within the virtual platform where users can pose their questions as well.

Is there a discount for airline tickets or hotel accommodations?

Yes, we encourage you to take advantage of our airline discounts and book one of our preferred hotels on our website’s “Travel” page.

I’m a reporter and I’d like to capture all of the excitement at the final WTAL conference in Atlanta. How do I apply for press credentials?

All members of the media—reporters, photographers, videographers, and crew—are required to have and display credentials to cover events within the conference. Please visit our website’s “Press Room” for more information and to complete the application for your press pass. The deadline to apply is August 29, 2022.

How will you ensure the safety of attendees at the 2022 WTAL Homecoming?

As the COVID-19 landscape continues to change, we are currently finalizing requirements to align with the latest recommendations from our health experts to assure your safety during the 2022 WTAL Homecoming. Will masks and proof of vaccination be required to attend?

Mask and vaccination requirements are being finalized at this time. Whatever decisions we make will be with your health and safety top of mind. Stay tuned for details.
